Please note: All of the products produced in our shop are made of Eastern Knotty Pine Wood; which means that some of our products can include a number of visible knots.

Definition of knotty pine:
Knotty pine wood is a wood that has a decorative distribution of knots.
Knots may vary in color throughout and are structurally sound. Over time knots will bleed through the paint and grain may be exposed.

We also do brownstone custom wood molding. Our craftsman is dedicated to create custom mill-work of the highest quality and finest design. We can replicate your existing curve or straight molding. Custom Wood Turning specializes in custom interior and exterior architectural wood components including curve molding, newel post, stair parts, porch post wood turning, hard wood doors, and architectural moldings. Our design and manufacturing facility is located in Brooklyn, New York. We offer complete mill-work projects for architect designers, new construction, restoration or remodeling and brownstone homeowners for large scale commercial mill-work projects. We can customize and design any style. At Custom Wood Turning there is no setup charge, no minimum order, we also turn sample wood turning for approval before committing to a final design. If you need to finish your project, we can cut custom knives if necessary to match your molding.
